You have quite a varied selection at http://int.barrabes.com/tents - tents available in the medium to higher price range, but the quality matches.
I found a tent locally, namely Salewa Denali II. It weighs just under three kilos, and both of us with the dragon can fit in it very comfortably. There's always room for at least one backpack inside, the other can go in front of one of the two entrances.
I prefer tents with two entrances because the draft cools and ventilates it in the heat; you can use one entrance as storage; in bad weather you can heat something there without issue, although the tent itself is tall enough to do that comfortably inside.
I mentioned above that you can easily fit one backpack inside, but with sleeping pads; without them there's room for a third person.
I use sleeping pads because they are comfortable, because you can't always gather softer materials under the sleeping spot in nature, and because the pad insulates in colder months. But you have to account for comfort taking space, so tent, pads, and sleeping bags make up two-thirds of the backpack contents.

Thanks for all the advice. In the end I got the Salewa Micra 2. Quick to pitch, fairly light and spacious. How it holds up in rain and wind we'll see.

I have Ferrino Lightent 2 and Ferrino Aerial 3
I use Lightent when traveling solo, because only one person and backpack fit in the tent... tent is extremely light. Problem is the construction like a roller or tunnel so it doesn't stand alone. You have to fix the corners with pegs obligatorily. On rocky ground when you can't hammer pegs, I try tying corners with string to a rock, sometimes put a rock in the corner inside the tent, etc.
Aerial 3 is good for two people and luggage. We were three inside already, but all backpacks outside. Advantage over Lightent is it stands alone - poles cross like in an igloo.
