According to the data I found on the internet, Krka is the longest, 111 km

Dolenjci say it's Krka, Štajerci (sorry Savinjci, so no one gets offended) say it's Savinja. I also voted for Krka (I'm not Dolenjc ). But something else caught my eye: How can as much as a third have voted for Sava?

And for Savinja there are different data too. In my lexicon it says length 102 km, on wikipedia 96 m. This is misleading people too.

This is really a mess. On the Abrakadabra website (rivers and waterfalls) for the river Savinja length 96 km is given, for Krka 111 km. But when in Geopedija you add up the lengths of named rivers (layer hydrography-axes) you get for Krka 94.89 km, for Savinja 93.71 km, the latter starts at the confluence of Črna and Jezera.

Probably the confusion is from there - whether Črna / Logarska dolina is included or not.

Regarding the shortest there is no dilemma.

@blazek33 Jezernica, from Divje Lake it flows into Idrijca. 55 m is its length.

miri Name is correct, location though Jezernica flows from Bohinj Lake to confluence with Mostnica (which comes from Voje valley through Stara Fužina), from there on flows Sava Bohinjka, which joins Sava Dolinka below Radovljica.

@blazek33 Well, now we're clear. The second shortest is the one that flows from Bohinj Lake. Lp

official data according to the Atlas of Slovenia 92 ... which can definitely be trusted more than various web posts ... 102 km Savinja ... 94 km Krka ;-) this reminded me of an interview with the author of one TV quiz ... in which he explained that for every answer they need confirmation of at least two written sources ... web doesn't count 0 ;-)

Wait, wait,.. to defend the Primorska honour For the longest river that flows only in Slovenia, we could also have Rižana

not Bohinka, but Bohinjka and it doesn't join under Radovljica, but before Radovljica at Lancovo, precisely 200m below Cajhen's lake
