Nice greeting
This year I want to go to Mont Blanc again, and visit and conquer the Monte Rosa group for the first time...... if anyone is interested or has similar plans....

I have plans to fly from Mont Blanc, but I have limited flying dates. That means it's closed for flights from May to August. L.P. Klemen

I also have a renewed attempt on Mont Blanc planned for this year. Last year we failed to summit due to weather (stuck at Vallot for 2 days). Do you intend a private ascent or to join some larger group?

For how many days would you go to Mont Blanc? I was thinking acclimatization Aiguille du Midi, then start from the valley with cog railway. Then Tete Rousse (colloquially), Gouter and summit.

I was up there in 96, and didn't need any acclimatization, so it's unnecessary to pay for the cable car to Midi, unless you want to ride up.

Well some really don't need it. I haven't tried such heights without acclimatization yet. Otherwise you can acclimatize on Tête Rousse too.

I think due to rapid ascent you do more harm than good to yourself. Better to go up to Midi after completing the Mont Blanc approach.

Anyway I need it a bit (acclimatization), before that I'll go to first three peaks in Austria, G.Paradiso, and attempt on Mont Blanc. Monte Rosa will be different. If all succeeds, next year goal higher...

Yeah last year apparently Maribor mountaineers went to Chamonix for 180 € and stayed in apartments dunno 5 days or something. That's extremely cheap. When we went privately by car it cost quite more. So if anyone knows such opportunity...

After longer forced absence from mountains and hills I have in mind ascents to more demanding peaks in Martuljek group this year. If someone can tell me how it is e.g. with Poncami, Oltarji etc., I've been to Kukova špica and Dovški križ myself. In guidebooks I read that these are the only peaks a non-alpinist hiker can ascend. If someone has done any other ascent alone please reply. Although I mostly hike alone but on paths I can't handle myself I join someone with more experience. Does anyone have plans for this beautiful area this year? Time and fitness adjustable. Please don't reply to join mountaineering club. In extreme case I will do that of course.
Also interested in harder approaches in Western Julians and northern approaches to Kanin.

since I didn't know where to write I opened new thread. This summer I plan to hike quite some demanding paths:
-Storžič (through gorge)
-Raduha (climbing path)
-Triglav (Tominšek or over threshold)
-Turska gora (through Turkish gully)
-Jalovec (past shelter below Špička)
-Planjava
-Grintovec (over Mlinarsko sedlo)
any path you advise against? my experience so far:
Slovenska pot to Ledine, Storžič over Škarjev rob, Kamniško sedlo from Okrešlj, Triglav past Kredarica, Kanjavec from Prehodavci, Brana, Grintovec over Streha,...no problems on these paths
accept other suggestions for similar paths.

Probably no problems. Turn the order a bit, it'll be even easier. Could escalate like this:
-Raduha(climbing path)
-Planjava
-Storžič (through gorge)
-Turska gora (through Turkish gully)
-Grintovec (over Mlinarsko sedlo)
-Triglav( Tominšek or over threshold)
-Jalovec (past shelter below Špička)
