Today I did a wonderful circular tour with my classmate. From Savica I headed over Komarča to the Double Lake. Then followed the crossing of the ridge above the 7J valley, namely over Ticarice and Zelnarice. Descent via the 7J valley.

It was great: http://bojanambrozic.wordpress.com/2011/07/17/ticarice-zelnarice-in-triglavska-jezera/

Nice tour, I believe you enjoyed it. Last time I went over Velika Špičje to Prehodavci and back over opposite peaks. Last year I started from Mala Tičarica to Prehodavci. Only to Velika Tičarica I didn't summit, a bit awkward climbing. More solitary tour, but nice.

Hi

Veliko Špičje still awaits me, soon. How is it there?

Bojan, actually nothing demanding. From the hut soon to the left and then to the rocks a little more than an hour and a half. Wires lead to the rocks. The summit is then another hour and a half. Then across the whole ridge along the top, it drags on for more than two hours to the hut at Prehodavci. Can be very hot on a sunny day. I hike at medium pace. Started at half past eight from the hut at Sedmerih, around one at the hut at Prehodavci. From the summit the whole ridge drags unusually. But I stop constantly and take photos and photos starting from the flowers. You will be through much sooner, I'm sure. That day 12 hours on the trail. Such a long tour maybe twice a season. Watch your ankles!

@ frenk 45: Taken somewhere between Zeleno jezero and Ledvica towards northeast under Kanjavec wall (see new pics). Nice folds, but much smaller scale also on path by Dvojno jezero (see new pics - scale Andrej's boots #42 velik nasmeh). Yes, 7J valley is really geological paradise!nasmeh

Yesterday I was again in the Triglav Lakes Valley. In the morning an extremely strong wind prevented me from going to Prehodavci. So I extended the tour the other way. Still super! nasmeh

I'm wondering if anyone has been around here recently. Curious about the snow and if there's any track yet. Especially interested in the path from Planina Blato to Zelnarice and then to Ticarice, and back past Bregarjevo shelter.

Yesterday along the ridge of Ticarice, Kopice and Zelnarice, descent to Vrata saddle and under Vršaki descent to Triglav Lakes valley.
Path without problems, under Vršak some snow patches that don't bother.
Triglav Lakes valley bathes in yellow larches. Water in lakes very little.
Really unique day.
Lots of pics of course:
