Maybe someone knows a solution for torn gaiters (result of fall with crampons), where could I get them sewn or somehow patched? Thanks for the help!

Take it to the shoemaker.

1. What material? 2. Do you know how to use an awl? 3. Silvertape is the easiest solution.

Take a strong awl, nylon thread and with a little work you'll patch it perfectly. I made slings for pulling the sail from the water (windsurfing), fixed torn mast protections with nylon thread and after years in bad conditions they still hold. Duct tape is a temporary fix, if you want a little aesthetics take awl and thread.

I fixed mine with super glue... the repair is almost invisible... the torn part was small... only one tooth came through...

I'm interested who replaces zipper and braided wire on gaiter that we put under crampons (Vrh gaiters)?

Ask the manufacturer. I think it will work.

As I wrote, so yes, all possible repairs from zippers onwards ..............VRH didn't go bankrupt, they just went in another direction.

I patched gaiters like matejs, but first sewed the hole then coated seams with two-component glue, now (almost) like new. Of course only for smaller holes...
