Yesterday, 29 August, to Tosc and V. Draški vrh via pathless terrain. From Bohinjska vrata, entry to the wall spiced with climbing right away. In the first part of the ascent, orientation is very demanding. Higher up, numerous cairns helped us. From Tosc, descended pathless to saddle under V. Draški vrh and hopped on it too. Here's the picture; taken on Saturday from the ridge between Meja and Globoki. As you can see both peaks in question are still white...

Was on VDV Wednesday morning, an exceptional sunny day and excellent conditions. Snow starts at 1600m. Gašper went ahead and eased the path with his track. Views to Triglav were exceptional. We tried to climb Ablanca too, but turned back due to a crevassed snow crack 60m below the summit.

The boundary between sun and shade was yesterday also the boundary between winter and autumn conditions. Snow and ice were from Jezerca to Studorski preval and behind Viševnik, but winter gear could stay in the backpack.
