I'm interested in how to train systematically for trail running. There's plenty of literature on how to safely train for a marathon or half-marathon without overstraining the body, but I haven't found anything like that for trail running, so please help. thanks

Answer: there isn't one either. There is no universal training for trail running. That's why some trail runners don't train uphill at all (e.g. Mitja and Mateja Kosovelj and Lucija Krkoč). Alič and Triler, for example, never run on the flat.

Mountain running is very interesting. I've already run in the mountains and it is very good running in the mountains. Go you too, mav, to the mountains

? Of course mountain running is interesting. Shame they don't show it on TV. They show only world championships.

I support the mountain running topic and look forward to new information. After all, some can just run uphill some of us can run and we are proud of it.
