Hello, for a friend who doesn't speak Slovenian, I'd like to give some Slovenian mountaineering book as a gift, but I don't know how much of this literature is actually translated into English... It would be great if there was The Path, but unfortunately (not yet), does anyone have a suggestion? thanks!

Nice book is Slovenian mountain fairy-tale, author Matjaž Kmec, photos by Peter Janežič (cca 190 pages with nice descriptions and photos-hard cover). Slovenia - mountains or Slovenia - portrait, author Bogdan Kladnik During Yugoslavia there was a book Beautiful mountains: in the Jugoslav alps, author Fanny Copeland Susan, who greatly admired the Julijce, ended her life path at the cemetery in Dovje.

Humar's biography was already originally written in English.

I think you can also get the chronology of Slovenian alpinism Alpine Warriors by author Bernadette McDonald in English. It's a summary of several original Slovenian alpinist biographies.

Thanks everyone for suggestions, Alpine Warriors would be quite a good gift, but I know he's already read them. There are obviously few translations
