Traverse of Govci!

Hello!
I took advantage of the nice day and went to check how overgrown the mentioned ridge is, because I like to ski tour it in winter snow. I didn't regret it. The whole ridge is nicely cleared along forest parcels. So, I'll ski down all those clearings with pleasure in the snow. I started at "Anina koča". A few hundred meters along the forest road, then I tackled the ridge, caution needed because it slips on dry leaves, more caution on the descent to the valley. Of course, you need bear spray with you, as this is bear territory. They hid in front of me hihihi, since I didn't meet any. Along the ridge also some slight descent to Veliki Bukovec 1445m. Beautiful views towards the Julians, Ljubljana basin and all around.

Hello!
Continuation of the Govci traverse.
I started, of course, where I finished on 9.11.2020. By car past Anina koča far along the drivable road under Veliki Bukovec, where I parked. Then on foot further along the overgrown road. Not to that summit, but right past it to the saddle. On the other side along the ridge and pathless into the valley, I kept to the right of it, more along the edge of Govci. I had Poldanovec in constant view ahead, so I didn't miss the direction. On the descent pathless I came across a wide old Austro-Hungarian road still well preserved, which brought me to Mojsko Drago and to the circular gravel road. Then right along this road, which runs flat under Poldanovec. Then uphill on the marked path. On the way back also on it to the ruined forest house past it left again on some path uphill. Already when assessing the return direction south from Poldanovec I remembered the noName saddle after the high windthrow pines. I used those as orientation, of course it led me pathless to a small basin where grows, I can safely say, the thickest maple in Slovenia. From there on a nice forest road towards Anina koča. The path is very demanding orientation-wise, I advise against walking in fog, you must have bear spray and watch for slips.
Best regards and good luck in the mountains, Swiss!

Interesting hike!
On photo 12 the "main" peaks are Viš and Krn. Mangrt from Poldanovec we see quite a bit more to the right of Krn.
