Triglav Lakes with children

Hello!
In summer we'd like to go with our kids (7 and 10 years) to Triglav Lakes. Accommodation planned in Kr.gora, or Logar Valley. Wondering if it's doable in 1 day, or better to overnight somewhere? (please also for some tips, experiences, best starting point ....)
Thanks

For a seven-year-old child, Komna is already the maximum in one day.

Well, that's why I'm asking, because I have no feeling or experience for such tours.
I was already alone on Triglav but now the plans have changed.velik nasmeh

Maybe in one day, but then starting point is not the same as end point (e.g.: Savica-Komarča-7J-Prehodavci-Trenta). If overnight, more variants available.

Starting point must be the same as end point, because we leave the car there.nasmeh

@lijaneja depends on the child and family lifestylenasmeh @aleš81 if just to the double lake (Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih), best for day trip from Blato (https://www.hribi.net/izlet/planina_blato_koca_pri_triglavskih_jezerih_cez_stapce/1/133/109); if all lakes, nice to combine top and bottom view, e.g. Blato to Tičarice and Zelnarice, then down via 7J valley over Štapce or Prode back to Blato. That tour for unaccustomed kid challenge for 1 day, sensible to overnight halfway at Prehodavci.

We did that variant last year. Planina Blato - koča pri Jezeru - Dedno polje - over Štapce to Dvojno jezero - Ledvica lake - back to Dvojno jezero - Črno jezero - koča Viševnik - Pršivec - koča pri Jezeru - Blato. Son 9 yrs daughter 7. Went without problems. So if kids are at least a bit mountaineers, no problem. Recommend overnight at Zasavska koča if see all. Also special event for kids to sleep in hut if first time. Regards

We plan more of a one-day tour, maybe really just to Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih, eat, rest and back.
Is it feasible and where is the easiest non-demanding path? Thanks

Wider tour: Pl. Blato - Pl. Dedno polje - under Vršaki (partly demanding path!) - Green lake - Koča 7J - Štapce - Pl. Ovčarija - Pl. Dedno polje - Pl. Blato.
Shorter tour: Pl. Blato - Pl. Dedno polje - Pl. Ovčarija - Prodi - Koča 7J - Štapce - Pl. Ovčarija - Pl. Dedno polje - Pl. Blato.

Basic rule for such trips: don't take kids where you haven't been yourself.
Strangers here can't advise well without knowing your kids' abilities.
Kids that age can do wonders if trained.
Length and difficulty all detailed on this forum.

Just feed them so that their batteries are full and it'll go.

If in Kranjska Gora, maybe better go to Krn Lake. Way back after tour, along Soča lots of sights and walks, surely enjoy TNP museum at Log in Trenta.

For Triglav Lakes Bohinj is a much better starting point, as evident from the suggestions. If you want to first test yourselves how you do in the mountains, I suggest day trips from Kranjska Gora - Martuljek Waterfalls, Mala Mojstrovka, Slemenova Špica, Trupejevo Poldne.

If one-day trip planned definitely recommend farthest to Ledvica and back. On this path like us. If you think too much, recommend back over Prode. In that case skip Black Lake. Agree with Nina4 what she wrote. Would add Planica and further to Tamar where you can see waterfall, from Jasna to Mojčin dom and further to Ciprnik....in short lots of options. You best know your children how capable re fitness. Good luck and safe path!
