This is how Green Tourism invites - Žan Vovk s.p. Stari Grad 83 Makole.

What will we all see:

1. Visit to the longest and largest Forma viva path in Slovenia together with Dvoršak gallery and sculpture park at the gallery.

2. Visit to the baroque castle Štatenberg with the possibility of tasting Haloze wines in the castle cellar and offer of food and drinks.

3. Visit to the longest karst cave in Styria and visit to the entrance of the black coal mine, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the mine.

4. We will stop at the ecological farm Volk (visit to shepherd's hut - house, built from wood and straw bales, plastered with clay, tasting of herbal liqueurs...).

5. Visit to the monastic complex of Dominican nuns in Studenice.

6. Refreshment spot Zelena dolina - tasty home food, offer for groups, dishes on order, visit to parrots.

7. Visit to the over 200-year-old Kavklerjeva cellar in Jelovec near Makole, which is known as an exceptional cultural monument.

8. They take you to see all this with a little train.

This excursion is suitable for groups, school excursions, school trips, final school trips, student trips, highly recommended for pensioners' association trips etc. Prior reservation required.

We Torkovci - retirees of the Škofja Loka mountaineering association went on this pleasant trip with the little train. It was extremely interesting and we warmly recommend it.

Trip through the Dravinska Valley and Haloze Hills For a visit to the castle, one can sign up separately. We viewed it with our group Ponedeljkovci - in spring.2
Trip through the Dravinska Valley and Haloze Hills Someone was secretly observing us from behind some vehicle.3
Trip through the Dravinska Valley and Haloze Hills They offer all this.4
Trip through the Dravinska Valley and Haloze Hills A tourist guide took us in charge and presented to us in front of the castle the oven for baking the largest loaf of bread for the world record.5
Trip through the Dravinska Valley and Haloze Hills Unfortunately the record was not confirmed because the loaf was raw in the middle. They will repeat it though.6
Trip through the Dravinska Valley and Haloze Hills Then we went on foot a little around these villages near the castle - throughout the Makole municipality there are Forma viva sculptures in wood and stone.7

Trip through the Dravinska Valley and Haloze Hills We did not go into the cave. For a guided tour of the cave, one must book separately. They also organize this.28
Trip through the Dravinska Valley and Haloze Hills We also went to see the monastic complex of the Dominican nuns in Studenice, which I present separately.29
Trip through the Dravinska Valley and Haloze Hills It is beautiful - for a visit one must book separately - it is very interesting. Especially the church is unique. You don't see such every day.30
