Like this ... a suggestion for a family outing on a nice day before the next snow dump - to the Tripoint. The description is detailed enough already in the "list of mountains", for a family outing I suggest the following: by car to the mountain hut, then on foot along the border zigzag to the summit and return not the same path but on a trail that's much less used but still followable - starting point is at the lower station of the drag lift at the border by the road. If there's a "hiker" in the family for whom the walk (50min) would still cause a bit of trouble, they can be driven to the border and wait there for the "real" hikers - family members ...
We have this route planned every fall and on nice weather the great views of the shady and sunny side of the Alps "burn" into memory for a while (the one in the head or the digital one). Only ... every fall - if I'm not mistaken - the last Sunday in September the road is closed due to the hike.

Nice tour, I go 2 or 3 times a year. Nice tour also from Korensko Saddle. Best Franci

I recommend the path from Korensko Saddle (turn left at the top of the hill before the last flat before the border) by bike.

...Winter fairy tale in miniature...
path a bit icy, but no problems. Through forest less snow, towards hut and further to summit about 20-25 cm. Nice trip for these short days, close enough and path not hard, have funnasmeh
