Ulovka and Planina nad Vrhniko

Well, my wish finally came true to go ski touring in my native Planina nad Vrhniko. Together with Janez and Peter we headed to Ulovka ski resort, where we did a touring "ascent" to the top of the ski slope and skied back on soft snow to the guesthouse. There's enough snow, so you can make carefree turns to the guesthouse. A track for pedestrians through the "gully" is also made, so no one will have trouble breaking trail. Again we followed the original track to the top of Ulovka and continued through the forest to the Shelter on Planina, because we got a bit warm. There the decision fell to ski down along/by the path over "Špica" to Storžev grič and to the "štirna". In the upper part nice skiing in sparse forest, middle part real rodeo on thick snow, on Storžev grič itself we were rewarded for the effort, as below hard crust, above a few cm of windblown snow. Summa summarum, everything turned out well and in the end we agreed the skiing was quite solid. LP Andrej

Today first time since October that I climbed a peak outside Logatec municipality. Chose nearby Ulovka and Planina nad Vrhniko.
Start from Jurček's houses, past "chestnut" and past "beech" to the viewpoint tower, then further to snow-covered Ulovka. Back "over Špica".
Path 95% dry (until tomorrow mežikanje

), no specialties.

Quite a lot of people, mostly without protective "muzzles". The so-called safety distance is something foreign. Not to mention groups from multiple households together.
Doesn't bother me and I don't pay attention, but those of you more sensitive in these turbulent times, I don't recommend these paths jezik
