New adventure season has fully blossomed with nice weather featuring treks and adventure race competitions, so we're already in full swing ahead of another craziest Saturday in May.
Urban adventure will hit a new venue. KAMNIK!
We're preparing a very special and challenge-packed race for all adventurers, where everyone will find a crazy and unforgettable adventure.
We're preparing two categories for you
MAMUT: 40 km
VERONIKA: 80 km
We'll tackle the course based on the received map and road book, using bike (mtb), running, paddling, rollerblading, rope descent (only on VERONIKA) and surprises....

First urban adventure of the year will take you on mammoth tracks, most persistent adventurers will try to solve the legend of Kamnik Veronica hidden somewhere on the castle slope of Mali grad.
Kamnik as new and attractive venue with varied surroundings, on the craziest Saturday in May, will host the craziest and full of challenges adventure, which we will overcome on foot, by bike, rollers, boats and nordic rollers, bravest also with rope technique and good dose of courage.
MAMUT category suitable for all recreational athletes with moderate fitness seeking new challenges. 40 kilometers enough to discover wonderful and history-woven city Kamnik and its surroundings.
Veronika category will be real test for all true adventurers. Veronica hides for centuries and guards her treasure, so at Kamnik Urban adventure opens doors only for most daring adventurers who will match her challenges. 80 kilometers long, interesting and blister-worthy path will take us to Veronica.
Self-testing, nature discovery and plenty of unforgettable stories and memories, will take two-member teams around Kamnik area and we promise unforgettable Urban adventure organized by Student Club Kamnik and ADVENTURE RACE SLOVENIA!

For youngest companions and adventurer families, we prepare also Mini adventure around Kamnik.
Fun, interesting, sporty and adventurous rambling around Kamnik on shorter track with various surprises, will take eager adventurers on tracks of Mammut and Veronika.
14th May Kamnik will be real town for whole family and friends!

So, Urban Adventure Kamnik is approaching fast, so organizers have finalized both routes. And what can we say at this point?
We promise paddling will be suitable for everyone and not too cold, but refreshing. Let us encourage you a bit and emphasize here that for paddling you don't need much prior knowledge, just a bit of will and gentle touch of water with paddle. Boats are "sit on top" which means very stable kayak suitable also for beginners. Distance will also be appropriate for the season.
Definitely you'll need a headlamp for Urban Adventure Kamnik. Caving discipline will take us through easy accessible underground world and we believe you'll be thrilled. Rappelling (only Veronika category) will be unique and unforgettable experience not only because of the length but especially the atmosphere.
Bike and run-hike parts will be interesting, spiced with various surprise tasks.
Also note that rollerblading discipline can be done with scooter too, but let it be exception not rule.
Mini adventure will take little adventurers along the trail of Kamnik mammoth all the way to Veronika's treasures below slopes of Mali grad, it'll be fun, a bit scary but educational.
Payment deadline for (cheaper) registrations extended to May 5th (day when entry fee must be paid too), warmly invited to Kamnik where May 14th will be the craziest Saturday of the month, if not the whole year!

Entry fee includes:
goodie bag, t-shirt, hot meal after event, shower, kayak rental (sit on top, paddles, life jacket), topo map...
Additionally on May 14th testing of nordic skates "skike" at finish area (also for spectators).
