Vače-Slivna-Zasavska sv. gora

March 19, 2008. By car to Slivna and then to the village of Vače. On the way I also stop at GEOSS and photograph the old Slovenian coat of arms, which I also post among my pictures. I park in front of the store and go past the Vače situla and the quarry to Zasavska Holy Mountain. Along the path I’m accompanied by “rotten” snow. It’s good to have gaiters, as it’s wet and muddy in places. The snow is melting, so you have to be careful, especially when crossing a small avalanche just before the summit. The hut is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays, so I didn’t meet anyone on the trail. At the top there was really a nice view.
