Velika Martuljška Pnca and Mala Martuljška Ponca

,,when you have the mountains all to yourself,,
Today was such a day. Start at the 3rd serpentine then to Krnica and along the ,,standard route to Velika Dnina. Janez and I agreed to visit the bivouac on the way back. We did the first pitch far left and all that still nicely on poles. Along the way we fixed some cairns; anyway, we enjoyed the silence, views and sun. The second pitch we did along the ,,classic,,. Nice climbing, not too demanding and we were already at the summit. Alone, no one anywhere...well on Škrlatica there were some. We took a short break, then, since the sun was already quite strong, we decided to rest at the bivouac. FANTASY. (lying until it hurts ) But since it was only early afternoon, the idea came for MMP too. Then descent towards Martuljek. Ascent to MMP was kind of 2 steps forward and one back, scree, scree, scree, and snow on top. But we successfully climbed to the top. In the direction from the saddle towards Kotli there's still snow and we used ice axe and crampons. Approx. 100m. Then we went to Mečesne and to the valley, where transport was already waiting for us. Great day. I hope there will be more such.

Last time I went from Krnica Za Akom to the Three Larches. On the right side of the krnica there's scree and in one notch I saw 3 hikers. I'm wondering if through that notch you get to one of the Kotli (which?) and if it's possible to continue the path towards MMP - if possible, how does it compare to the one from the 3 larches!

You arrive at Srednji Kotel. But that notch is crumbly, when I walked past it (from Spodnji Kotel), stuff was falling quite often... helmet is mandatory. Otherwise I haven't gone over that notch up (or down) yet, but it seems more suitable for descent, uphill on scree can be quite tiring.
The path from Kotli goes past the summit Na Pečeh (to there it's about 45 minutes from the mentioned notch) further to the notch between Ponci. But in Kotli it's currently surely more snowy than it looks in your photo.

From the Aška side it's easiest to go along the middle path, which turns towards Ponci just before the ascent to the Three Larches. That way you avoid a large part of the scree.
