Hello!
After the last snowfall I couldn't stay put and went to explore a bit. To Škrbina on the north side of Trnovski gozd with chains on the car wheels. Park. The road isn't plowed but passable. Put on skis with skins and break trail towards the summer path to Golaki. 20cm snow. Path nicely snowed and slides well on powder. To first saddle nice and steady. At second saddle turn right off path into forest off-trail. Higher up skis on backpack because rocks not covered by snow yet. All the way like that to top. On ridge realize too little snow even for approach to Great Golak. Leave skis and pack at base and push through brush to summit. In normal winter all covered and ski approach no problem. At top take photos all around 360°. Air clear no cloud. Descent also tricky in brush. Since too little snow no way to clip skis. Stayed on backpack till summer path down valley. Lower in woods clip on and ski ascent track to car. Tour not ripe for ski touring yet. Too little snow doesn't cover all rocks. Till next dump only winter "gojzarji", gaiters, poles and backpack with enough fluid. For spice and adrenaline bear took care with tracks. Dunno why not sleeping yet hihi!
Cheers and safe in the mountains
