Yeah, today it was all about the 1600ers and quite a few piled up...we drive to Breginjski Kot-Breginj, where left turnoff to Marija Snežno, we right, park a bit higher. Initial part through forest, past Sveta Marjeta, hmm, then end of strolling , to the top it climbs along the "ridge" with a steady moderately steep zigzag. And here, obviously from excitement over ever better views, the idea pops up, what if...we quickly reach Kobariški Stol, views as already for a while, endless all around. We return to junction, left Breginj, right continue on ridge over Njivice, Puntarčič, Ribežni and already at Mali Muzec, descend and check bivouac under Muzec, nicely arranged and in a great viewpoint spot. Again ascent to Veliki Muzec and here that morning one comes, what if ...yeah sure, I said and we went, up and down, under Nizki vrh and stood on Breški Jalovec too, yuhu. When I looked back, uhhhh, yeah what we covered, Kobariški Stol barely visible
We descended back to saddle under Nizki vrh and through grass down to Plaz, past Benetke and lower joined a well-preserved forest road ending before Prekopa, a path led us to the start, well, last meters on road
Tour...superrr, well marked, once on ridge wonderful views accompany you and sometimes you don't know where to turn, descent option earlier or from Mali or Veliki Muzec shortening the tour, otherwise whole loop quite long but easy...recommend
note: under Nizki vrh found black bike helmet and hung it on signpost under Nizki vrh
