On Sunday we hiked a beautiful trail from Rudno polje to two peaks just under 2,000 m. So the first two that Skala hiked in 2016, Veliki Selišnik and Debeli vrh. Still posting here so not to open a new thread. Sunday was real autumn idyll, wonderful colors, larches in full beauty. Our little rose knows how to pick the right hike, right day that's not too crowded. From Rudno polje towards Viševnik, but turned to Kačji rob. Found the path to unmarked Veliki Selišnik, where I've been once. Cairns helped, some caution and we were on top. Views so beautiful you just have to experience them. Descent to path to Blejska Hut. Then a hop to Debeli vrh, quite steep, unmarked, but spotted some marks near top. Another new peak under 2,000 m, insane views. Triglav, Rž, Rjavina like on palm. Descent to Blejska Hut, then down to Rudno polje where markers disappear on descent to road. No issue for experts, others need more signs to Rudno polje. From logging area through grass to road, turn right. Such autumn hikes on Pokljuka are the best... unforgettable. Total nearly 1,000 m elevation gain, 16 km.

The turn-off to Debeli vrh is marked on a stone by the marked path, higher up the markings are sparser.
