For those who are ever in the Tržič area, I recommend an excellently panoramic peak, the approach to which is really short. If you drive from Podljubelj along the gravel road past Reber, you reach Završnik (actually the saddle above it - you can park lower) and from there it's only 10min to the summit, from which you are right in the middle between Storžič, Tolsti vrh, Dobrča, Begunjščica and another bigger brother Veliki vrh (Košuta). You can extend the ascent if you go from Tržič past Kamnjek along the Radetzky path (approximately 1.30h).
Today it was idyllic up there - sun that smelled of spring, sap was falling from the trees, views weather-appropriate.. Dry.

on foot approach from Tržič, from parking lot before school, over Kamnek, approx. 1 hour (35 + 25) normal walking.

Kamnek 873 m, Pirmance 949 m, Veliki vrh nad Završnikom 968 m
Quite short, but sweet. The ridge above Tržič yesterday certainly exceeded all expectations in beauty. A pleasant path winds from one peak to another, in between views to freshly snow-covered Begunjščica, entire Košuta, Storžič, Kriška gora and Dobrča. Right in the embrace of all these mountains rises this beautiful ridge, which reaches its peak right at Veliki vrh. And there two Veliki vrh stand opposite each other and I couldn't say which one seemed more beautiful to me at that moment. We stood on one, the other we just admired.
On the return we chose paths below the peaks, so we got to know those too and thus reached the starting point a bit differently.
Really nice, considering I only learned about this ridge a week ago . Yeah, it could have never happened!
It was a nice trip, but we missed another nice one yesterday. It's always like that, if you gain something, you lose something.
