Ever since Alessio told me they chainsawed the old path, it hasn't let me rest. From Jezerska Valley, or more precisely from the fortress where the gun is placed—on the other side surf center—I set off only in the afternoon. Part of the path I knew of course from before, as I had walked it at least three times previously. Initially it runs along the left bank of Canalle della malga; when I reach the cross path along which old iron pipes are buried, then at the water intake in the gully it crosses to the right bank. From there onwards it's a more modest trail marked with rare cairns; we can orient ourselves by the swath of sawn trees and clearings. Higher I reach a cluttered small cirque; it started drizzling from the sky. Nevertheless, I continued towards the central gully through which the passage is routed. At two spots there are old steel cables on interesting forged pegs. At the top of the gully a bunker awaits me; luckily I don't see rifle barrels from the firing slits. I go on, soon reach a cavern, then a larger masonry object, and then follows an interesting bivouac. I sign as the second Slovenian since 2006, which is what the logbook says. The view would be very nice, but due to mists it's not; well, still nice. I return along the ascent path, although apparently there's another path to the valley of Beli potok. Suitable for all who don't like marked paths and for all interested in WWI remains.

This time up again. Path same as first time. At the upper old steel cable someone installed a thin rope with knots, which is more of a hindrance than a help. I did the descent by going from the "clogged cirque" transversely and a bit up along a path to the marked path leading from Rajbl to the saddle under Visoka polica and then down, left it near the water intake and descended to the start.
