Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone among you has hiked [url=https://trail.viadinarica.com/en/tour/long-distance-hiking/via-dinarica-white-trail/17291189/#dm=1]Via Dinarica[/url], fully or some part of it.
I'm setting off on this trail end of April and have some questions about the trail itself.

well, I've checked everything possible on the internet, but most hikers only hike part of the trail. But I'm interested in the whole trail. If one goes on a long trail you organize differently than if just for a week. If I don't find anyone I'll just head into the "unknown". 
say, I plan to use only paper maps myself and have to put them together at all, because for this trail no such map (or collection) exists. For Croatia I'll assemble them, for the other three countries even acquaintances from those countries don't find them.
and with money I don't know what to do, because I'll probably have to exchange it on the trail, and wouldn't want to have a lot together. How to do it then - send it via e.g. Western Union or otherwise.
I'm curious how it is with huts, are they open every day or only weekends etc. I have some such concrete technical questions, but wherever I turn no one knows anyone who has hiked this trail. There is one American who hiked it, but that two or three years ago and I won't ask him these things in that thread.

I think those two went the entire trail, which you can easily check yourself on their project website (https://www.deuxpasverslautre.com/the-path).
From the video itself I meant more that you actually contact them, since they are quite open and had quite a few guests on their path from Portugal to Turkey.

I'm interested if there's any Slovenian here who went on this trail, or knows someone who did. As for neighbors even Croatian mountaineering clubs didn't know (or want) to help. Somehow I don't believe only foreigners hike these trails.

explorer: thanks. This page is fantastic, but sadly most links from it no longer work. Question why. Anyway good info that I need a water filter with me. And that crossing national parks needs to be paid. All good information.
