Ratitovec has numerous beautiful approaches, one is also by road from Sorica to Torka and then up. Most drive this 6-kilometer road connection, but it is very beautiful and picturesque, a nice experience also (or primarily) on foot.
The road has been gradually asphalted in stages in recent years, now asphalt is on the first kilometer from Rotka (junction from Sorica-Soriška planina road), through villages Zg. Danje and Zabrdo and to Torka, where another road from valley through village Ravne joins.
One can branch off the road already in Zg. Danje, where marked path leads to planina Sp. Jirn and on to Ratitovec, another option right after Zabrdo village, but unmarked and poorly trodden.
