From Celje, the center at the railway station to the 538 meters high Vipota, somewhere the extreme southwestern peak of the Celje hills above the left bank of Savinja and then descent to Tremerje on somewhat my own variant, namely still under one Vipota  probably No. 2 with height 398 meters on which I didn't do the ascent (let the roe deer, chamois, wild boars have it...) and then return on the original hiking path from Tremerje this time somewhat below the Vipota summit back to Celje. Pleasant three hours directly above the left bank of Savinja and new insight into the world right above Savinja. Vipota quite an interesting peak, approach to the summit for this height solidly ,,steep,,. Path as seen and also entries at the summit not too trodden, while from Tremerje to the summit even much less I'd say or rather write practically nothing...GPS track:Vipota...Celje-Tremerje
Yes, these are already somewhere paths that connect somewhat more distant and atypical points between the left and right bank of Savinja. Path soaked and also muddy, temperature just right, cloudy and partly foggy too, also some light drizzle...Signal weak and GPS measured poorly, after correction 13 kilometers, elevations accurate...

Short and relatively easy hiking activity on or above the left bank of Savinja. Goal: Vipota peak at 392 meters. Some call the peak also Mala Vipota. Slightly more to the east is actually the more known 532 meters high Vipota peak. Mala Vipota is the most extreme western peak of Celje Hills. Today to it directly from Celje center along Savinja all the way to settlement Pečovnik or Tremerje. Ascent to it and immediate return back to Celje. Initially planned continuation toward Ivankovič junction and higher Vipota. During ascent to Mala Vipota decision that the activity today be only to Mala Vipota. On the ridge a few tens of meters below the summit, as seen, base station of mobile telephony with antenna system. Summit allows some views mainly to Tremerje settlement and part of the area above the settlement, also Veliki Slomnik, Malič... Interesting activity, some new view of the space directly above the Savinja river relatively close to Celje and Laško...Today without ,,click,, technique, no pics therefore, paths dry and the weather was clear or sunny...Pešpoti/Mala Vipota392, 02.04.2016 and Strava/Mala Vipota, 02.04.2016 Regards
