Visit to a mountain with cable car / gondola

Hello
We're preparing for the 70th birthday celebration and I came up with the idea of a group trip to the mountains, but since there are quite a few kids from 2 years old onwards, we'd combine with gondola or cable car. So some on foot, others by transport. I have Velika Planina, Vogel in mind...then I get stuck.
I'd be most grateful for any idea.
