Vodnik's viewpoint.....
Quickly accessible scenic peak above Koprivnik village. I started in Jereka at the end of the bridge over Jerečica. Nice stroll, if there are views from the top too, then the joy is even greaternasmehnasmeh

Yesterday I drove to Bohinj, more precisely to the church of Mary's Assumption in Bitnje, where I parked. From there I hiked up to Jereka and further to Vodnik lookout.
Given that yesterday was the day after heavier rain, water was flowing almost everywhere, also on the marked path. More in the pics...

Vodnik lookout above Koprivnik is somewhat unjustly neglected viewpoint. We usually forget about it when rushing from Bohinj, over Jereka and shortcut over Koprivnik and Goreljek to Rudno polje and higher. Thanks Tadej for such nice pics. Best

.. They also call it Gospodovc, this lookout attracted us again. At the start of the cart track from Jereka mostly icy ground. Sometimes covered with snow, crampons recommended. At the top sun and views..nasmeh

On Sunday we did this pleasant stroll. We drove to Koprivnik and enjoyed the great views at Vodnik lookout.nasmeh

If health doesn't allow you to go at least for a decent walk, then visiting the Vodnik lookout from Koprivnik is a real balm for the soul in such nice weather as yesterday. The lower Bohinj mountains were flaunting themselves before the eyes in all their beauty, as well as the upper Bohinj valley shaped by glaciers.... nasmehmežikanje

Majda, yes it is now too, but the mountains listed are only in the direction towards Bohinj Lake, my question for pic 17 refers to the view back (direction from where you come to the top), i.e. opposite to the lake.

zlatica, I thought maybe in front Kočna and Grintovec, behind maybe Skuta, Rinke and left behind Ojstricanasmeh. But I wouldn't bet my head on it.

Gmirko, thanks for presenting the tool. Ločanka, your hint was my secret thought velik nasmeh, which I didn't dare voice so as not to miss completely. I couldn't imagine anything else but Kočno and Grintovec, then those peaks nearby bothered me too, ha ha. So now I'll more boldly study that direction with the help of the map and the mentioned tool.
