I'm wondering if it's possible to get from Vogar to the hut at Voje, or if you have to go to Fužine first and then to Voje.

When descending the mountain path from Vogar to Fužina, you reach the asphalt road at the bottom. Instead of going right down to Fužina, turn left slightly uphill and you're quickly in (at) Voje. If there's already some transverse shortcut higher up, I don't know.

No higher shortcut, but there is another path there exactly along the ridge to Bohinj Lake. It's quite overgrown with low shrubs, we exit a bit lower, there at sp.mitnica. Turbo described the right, closest track to Voje.

In the morning first hassle with parking. As usual, it's worth driving to Voje because (still) no charge. If you leave the car at the lower parking lot it's € per hour or 8€ full day... Educational. First we checked the Mostnica gorges, really nice, lots of water. We drank coffee at Voje, good Turkish. Then we returned by road to the starting point for Vogar and went up there, the path to the top is still a bit snowy, but no bother. Hut closed, the only visitors said it should open on May 1 if they find a warden. Pulse today besides path and companion sped up by another event: LYNX crossed the marked path behind us a bit below Vogar, on the alpine pasture where there are small huts. I had just turned to photograph the whole pasture when it emerged from the forest, crossed the path, maybe even looked towards us and on the other side past the hut disappeared from sight again. For a close-up photo I was of course too late. On the return we definitely saw its tracks. Otherwise, we recommend...

One "gorenjska" question for Lidija: when do they start collecting toll in the morning (Vrata from 5am, Logarska apparently 6am). Not that "earlybird", but 10 EUR quite much.

Today there were none, that's why I say it's free if you drive further, but if you park diligently below, e.g. 5 hours 5€. From experience I know that when they start, they are there before sunrise, around 5am....

Parking fee from first paragraph of this article is paid every day of the week from 06.00 to 20.00, specifically in the period from 1 April to 31 October current year, except parking before Tourist Association Ribčev Laz, where parking fee must be paid all year.
Road use compensation from first paragraph of this article is paid every day of the week from 04.30 to 22.00, specifically in the period from 1 May to 15 October current year.
