Nice greetings We plan to spend three days (two nights) in the mountains. The rough outlines are known. Start at Vogel, we'd finish via Komna to Bohinj. If anyone has walked this path already or could give some advice, what's the timetable like, maybe we'd go to Triglav Lakes too, where to sleep along the way..... Daily max 6 hours walking. Would be grateful for some other idea too. Nice day further

I think three days is definitely too much, unless you stop a lot a lot. I hiked an extended version of this route a few years ago in less than 9 hours and back then I wasn't in great shape. I remember rushing quite a bit because I had a parking ticket for 8 hours, which was as I recall the longest you could buy then. I left the car near the climbing wall in Bohinj, then went back along the road towards Bohinjska Bistrica and to Suha Planina. I went along the road because I couldn't find a direct path to Suha Planina. Where it was marked, there was simply forest and some private property. From there to the ridge above Suha Planina, then along the ridge to Šija, past Vogel, Planja, Migovec to Komna, from there down to Savica waterfall and past the whole lake back to the car. Before the planina for Migovec on the descent you need to be a bit careful to take the right path. It seems to me it's not exactly marked on the map there.

iUnknown then maybe a variant to extend to the hut at Triglav Lakes and return over Komarča or is there a better variant for descent to Bohinj. I would leave the car under the cable car.

Yes, my brother did that when he went with kids (up to 10 years). First day to Vogel and then to Komna, second day to Seven Lakes, third day to Planina Blato and then by bus to the lake. For Komarča you need to check if it's open, because I haven't gone there for a while but went to Sedmera or over Komna or over Vogar or over Planina Blato.

iUnknown Super, we'll go for that because Komarča doesn't appeal to the wife too much. Thanks a lot for the answer best regards

bbugari1 How much approx time addition for the second day to return from the hut at the Seven Lakes to Komna (sleep), so that for the third day only descent remains and maybe some swimming. Thanks best regards
