Vogels and Triglav Lakes Valley

Another tour I started still in the dark. The wish to observe and photograph the sunrise on Slatna quickly vanished. Not because I got up too late, but because of the clouds Still, nice colors appeared between the clouds towards the east. To make the harvest complete I also hopped to Krede, then back to Slatna and then towards Vogels. The steepest is the First Vogel. Luckily only had to cross a small snow tongue, otherwise the path was bare. From the First to the Last Vogel is a wonderful stroll, still cursing the clouds to myself. Stepped on snow only a few times the whole way. Completely different story in the continuation. Descent from Last Vogel to Vrata saddle I did more my way. This time on snow, which there's still plenty on this side. Crossing under Vršak was quite annoying, luckily no ice anywhere. Sky started clearing My god, what colors Green and Brown Lake just starting to melt. Of course I wandered too close to Green Lake and snow under me gave way Had to continue with some water in the boot At Prehodavci I took a longer break, then back through Triglav Lakes Valley. Snow all the way to Ledvička, further to Double Lake the path is bare. Along the path ran into marmots that were quite good at posing. Recommend the tour or at least part of it. Just under Vršak the crossing will be snowy for a while, so careful! Pictures here: http://www.petersfoto.si

Congrats for this one, did you post-process the photos at all, and I'm curious what gear was used for these shots?

Not much processing: here and there some contrast, exposure adjustments and erasing some contrail in the sky. On my website http://www.petersfoto.si under each photo you can read all about settings and camera model. Lens is Canon 18-135 for landscapes and Sigma 50-500 for animals. Best Peter
