Hudournik-Gačnik-Školj
Vojskarska Plateau is a beautiful world that lies between Idrija on one side and Trebuša on the other. It is mostly known for harsh winters and low temperatures, but little has been written about its beauties. That the Gačnik stream, which carves its path through a gorge in beautiful waterfalls, originates right on this plateau, is not widely known either. But the desire to discover something new sometimes arises in a moment, and this time it was the same. The idea captivated both of us, and yesterday we set off on this path, a path of peace and silence across green meadows.
We drove to Vojska at 1077 m from Idrija, and already below it we could quickly marvel at all the beauties we were heading towards.
We parked at the church of St. Joseph and set off on a circular path first to Hudournik, a 1148 m high hillock on its edges, descended to the Gačnik stream and admired the upper two of its 14 waterfalls, then returned on another path and rejoined the aforementioned path a little below the church. We also climbed to Školj, which rises right above the parking lot, and thus with some additional detours walked about 17 km.

We relied on the markings and map. Maybe we walked a bit longer than necessary in that section. We went from the top of Hudournika past the mark on picture 28 and down to the lower road, where we turned right to the junction for Oblakov vrh. I think it would be better to descend back in the ascent direction and continue at the Gačnik sign, which I'm attaching (no.1). I think on that path a shortcut to the left appears, which we noticed only down below. After a while we reach the junction anyway, where the sign marks Gačnik again (picture 2) and continue in the marked direction along the road to the Brdar farm.
The waterfalls are below the farm, there's a sign too.
