Today I fulfilled yesterday's wish and skied down from the saddle. I ascended partially along the mulatjera, partially along the snow tongue. The mulatjera from about 1400m upwards is partially snowy in places, but the snow is soft and the crossings are not problematic. Completely different story right below the Vrata peak, where some sections are icy and without crampons it's not doable. The path continuing to Krn and the "intermediate station" Krnčica is, as far as I could see, also partially snowy and full winter gear is necessary.
