Judging by the forum, the Vrbanove špice have seen quite a few visits in recent days. The logbooks at both Vrbanove špice confirm this. For the finale this time, we didn't choose Rjavina, but Cmir. We started in the dark in Kot. Somewhere near Debel kamen we awaited the sunrise Soon we branched off to the right towards the Lower Vrbanova špica. It's continuous steepness all the way to the top, with some iron fixtures just below the summit that ease the approach. The views from the top took our breath away The ridge to the High Vrbanova špica went without incident. The protections are in good order and plentiful. We progressed slowly though, as I just couldn't stop photographing. What a day! At the High Vrbanova špica we took a short snack break and headed towards Cmir below Begunjski vrh. The path dips and rises slightly, but soon a sheer vertical section appears, well-equipped with protections. We cross Rjavčeve glave, descend a bit more, then climb towards Cmir. Below the summit we encountered chamois. The summit offers great vistas. Breathtaking, of course, is the view of the North Triglav Face. Return to Staničeva koča and then back to Kot valley. There are plenty of photos and they're here:

Yesterday I headed on this path, but did a circular tour via Požgana Mlinarica. Path over Vrbanove Špice without features, likewise ascent to Cmir. At top of Cmir another hiker came after me and after short chat decided to go with me via Požgana Mlinarica back to Kot. We returned on path to cables, there descended scree into valley behind Cmir. Followed nicer part of path in valley. Path well visible and marked with cairns. At valley end turned right and under walls of Vrbanove Špice descended scree to 1680m. There still ascent on scree and then through pines straight to top of Požgana Mlinarica. Descent from top quite demanding, fatigue added too. Arrived Kot at six. Tour quite demanding due to length and pathless parts. Whole tour with breaks 10.5 hours. Regards Miro

Very similar tour as predecessor described, we did yesterday with son, except arrived at High Vrbanova Špica previous evening already. Difference only we descended from Cmir to valley a bit earlier (10 min from top back on marked path). Direction shown by cairns and mainly descends grasses mixed with scree, keep more left to exit scree-field, where step onto usual valley path. If going again, rather choose descent to Vrata, as return to Kot via Požgana Mlinarica seemed too tedious. Not due to extra 250m ascent. Just ridge part took us 3 hours. Path already quite overgrown with brush and serrated overgrown ridge tedious. Descent from ridge to Kot on nice hunting trail though.
