From planina Pecol, below Montaž to near Pipan's ladder and right onwards to Cima Verde. 2661m asl. Back below Cima Terrarosso (Špik hude police). The path below Hudimi police is nicely secured with new steel cables. Ibex and marmots aplenty.

Not really related to mountains, but excellent microbrewery from Čedad. Super selection at Pecol then.

klm, I think it definitely has to do with mountains. Great beer after a hike always hits the spotbig smile

Yesterday after 2 long years back at planina Pecol. Goal was Cima Verde, then via Leva path to Špik hude police and down. Weather good, sunny start, then a bit cloudy, just right for pleasant hike. Sadly no views .... conditions ok, some snowfields to cross but doable ... we dragged all winter gear along, turned out for nothing ... For Montaž still need crampons and axe because nasty snowfield before Pipan ladder entry and no gear no go.... and some pics ....

Didn't bother putting crampons for those 100m snow, climbed right side of wall...15
Right bypass... not too bad finding passages, just a bit crumbly...16

Down we go, as a nice chunk of the tour awaits us today, need to do path Leva and then push on Špik hude police ....23

Yesterday via planina Pecol to Vrh Brda. Path to Pecol still closed due to timber removal. From Vrh Strmali onwards winter gear needed. Morning clear day at summit, soon peaks in clouds. Descent to valley via Leva path, where protections badly damaged from winter, and some small snowfields to cross.

Summit features magnificent views.

In the last "green" part, caution needed – especially descent, due to wet grass, or moss.
