Yesterday I experienced another unforgettable day in the mountains.
Neža mentions the said mountain to me and she didn't have to say it twice. We get up at an inhuman hour and a few minutes past six we're already trudging up the ski slope above the saddle ''V Žlebeh''1162. At the Gilberti hut 1850 we don't stop at all and cheerfully continue in the morning coolness. Since the day is long, we couldn't go without visiting Bela Peč, where two young guys are already doing chamois monitoring. We chat pleasantly with them. (further to the top of Kanin we didn't meet another living soul) After descending from the hillock we continue to bivouac Marušič 2041. We gain almost no altitude, but the path drags like chicken guts. Here we gear up, as the main part of today's route begins. There was no severe heat yet, the ridge is also partially shaded, so climbing to the peak was pure pleasure. Unfortunately you have to descend quite a bit from it towards SW, then the last real ascent - Visoki Kanin. Like arriving in an anthill. Harnessed, helmeted, mobiles... We also stay longer, since practically only a loooong descent awaits us. On the way we detour only to P. window, from there along the ferrata around the hill to Prevala 2067. To the cable car we're alone again, as all other visitors gravitated to our side. For 6€ (family discount ) we comfortably rode to the parking.
I must say, the tour was long, the ski slope ascent demanding, both main peaks appropriately equipped, some cables, especially in the lower part of Krnica, unfortunately rattling loosely...
I took quite a few photos, those who find pictures boring can easily skip them.

Thanks, Boštjan. I must say no, as it would have delayed us; we still had a long way ahead with a sausage break waiting. But I somewhat counted on Sr. Vršič, which besides Kanin uniquely dominates here. I listened to the youth's wishes and we continued on the path. I think it was just as good, as there was already reserve included at the end
But I'm satisfied that I finally resolved the height of Kaninski vršič, which is different on almost every map.
