If there was no summer in summer, we have it in autumn anyway.
On Sunday I set off from Savica via Komarča towards the mentioned hills. Due to the general confusion of various stated elevations, I took my Garmin to get clarity. First it measured the point south of Veliko-špičje at 2061m (on Sidartin's map 2069), on Debelem laštu 2102 (2096), biggest deviation on Vrh Labrje 2302m (on map 2326). Who to believe?
With a lump in my throat I first tackled the peak in the Lepošpičje ridge. According to sparse descriptions you need a rope to cross the ridge, but I approached from the south where no rope is needed, otherwise short ascent reaches max. III degree. On the summit joy that I photographed everything possible. Descended the entry route and visited nearby Debeli lašt, no time for Gladkega as the day is very short.
Woe to the hiker who tries directissima from here to hut 7J, sinkholes and scree take lots of strength, time and will, so if you don't really know the shortcut well, nicely back to the path from Velika špičja. Despite excellent weather I met (overtook) only six people and a young family who overnighted in bivouac 7J. Descended to car before dark.
