Pictures and condition last weekend. There's still plenty of snow and it doesn't freeze even at night. From Komna direction towards Škrbina no track, only traces of touring skiers. From Komna to Krnsko jezero only two hikers went, one step still sinks so time and energy double. Steep crossings still quite demanding. Mandatory winter gear, visible cracks on steeper sections so you don't know when snow will give way.. today surely something different. Cheers.

Today at Vrh nad Škrbino. Started at Planina Podkuk then along old abandoned path to Žabiški kuk and Vogel. Then over Globoko pass and Meja to Vrh nad Škrbino. Return via Planina Razor to start. Path without issues, almost no snow left, but great day.

Hello!
I'm interested if anyone knows the condition of the bivouac under Globoko saddle (if it's possible to overnight there) and if there's a water source nearby?

sla, bivouac is in excellent condition and it's possible to overnight there. No drinking water nearby though. Good luck nasmeh

Yesterday by cable car to Vogel. First to Planina Zadnji Vogel and house peak Vogel. To continue towards Vrh nad Škrbino I climbed all intermediate peaks. At some you need to descend back to path, last three peaks part of continuous easy ridge.
Descent from Vrh nad Škrbino to Škrbina saddle and Planina Za Migovcem. Some time along path to Komna, at lowest part left path and turned to Ražnova Suha towards Melj (barely traceable hunter's path).
Continuation to Žagarjev graben and another three km on macadam to car.
Nice ridge tour, for descent recommend elsewhere (Komna or back to Vogel), as path through Ražnova suha really hard to follow.

Yesterday cable car to Vogel, from there to pl. Zadnji Vogel which is empty this year. Then to Vogel summit. No snow on path anymore, but still visible in cirques.
From Vogel descended back to path towards Konjsko sedlo and under Snežni vrh decided for ridge approach.
From Snežni vrh to Meja explored flowers in real botanical gardens. Even found Mayerjev ušivec.
From Meja vrh descended gully to path Konjsko sedlo - Vogel by which arrived back to gondola at Vogel.

19.10.2021. Time for a tour long planned. And on Tuesday weather favored us. From Tolminske Ravne to Vrh nad Škrbino. Along the slab where interesting and nice path runs. Haven't walked here dry yet. Only in snow in March this year. At summit meet two guys descending to Planina Razor. We from Škrbina continue along ridge. All three first time on this path. Aim all way to Vogel and then descent to Tolminske Ravne. Nice ridge traverses. Twice had to descend a bit and back to ridge. Not cold. Not windy. Tour lasted eleven hours. 1740m ascent accumulated, because had to descend and reclimb several times. Km not many. Only 16.
