A few days ago I read that GRS had to intervene because two Croats ran out of trail on the path from Vršič via Sleme to Tamar. At that I just thought: ah those Croats. Yesterday (6.8.2009) I hiked this path myself and have to say the thing isn't entirely harmless after all. The path doesn't get lost and is passable. In the Črna voda area though it's quite damaged. The path there runs along an extensive snow patch and is very damp and slippery. Plus the rocks are pretty loose. Just for info to all those planning this path in the near future.
