Vršič - Vrh Ruš - Vrata (Krn mountains)

On Saturday, 26.11., I felt like summits above Drežniške Ravne again and the decision wasn't hard. I drove to the parking lot above the mentioned village and climbed the well-marked trail to Planina Zaprikraj, from there right onto the mule track towards Vrh Ruš. During the way I left the path and just blindly pushed uphill through steep grasses. Almost at the top I stepped back onto the mule track which brought me to Vršič. I aimed to traverse the ridge to Vrata. The whole way beautiful views accompanied me and also sights of war remains...the ridge is full of caverns, shooting lines....At the Vrata saddle I couldn't help but jump to Krnčica too, where they recently set up a cross and a box with logbook and stamp. I sat a bit, feasted my eyes, then descended from Vrata via mule track to Planina Zapleč and back to start. On the whole path I didn't meet a living soul..no human, no animal..

I also traversed the Krnčica ridge this year. It was nice as in the upper photos, but no cross on the summit.
Wondering who and with what permission puts such ideological symbols on our summits.
I think crosses belong in sacred objects,
on mountain tops a box with logbook is appropriate.
Interested in your opinion.

Planina Zaprikraj - Mali Homec - Skalce - Vršiči - Vrh Ruš - Oblo Brdo - Vrata and descent back to Planina Zaprikraj.
