From the city hustle and noise we can head out for a pleasant ramble across Bloška Plateau. We leave the motorway at Unec exit and drive via Cerknica to Bloke in Bloke municipality to Novo vas. From Ljubljana we'll get here in just over an hour - not too far. We leave the car at the guesthouse in the village and walk to Volčje village to Bloško Lake. Or we can drive to the lake by car. There's something to see here. In the pleasant setting of the lake with nice guesthouse eyes rest on the sight of the fishing bear and Bloško skier. There's also a recreation center with nice small wooden houses. We can finish here or continue our walk via Nemška vas village on Bloke to Velike Bloke village, where we treat ourselves to Sunday lunch with excellent home-cooked food at Miklavčič inn.

Friday 13.8.2021 (cycling)

Bloška plateau and lake were visited by me today. I started and finished at the lake and rode through some villages on the plateau, to get to know the area a bit and plan future trips easier. It was pleasant, short and sweet, so I'll return soon nasmeh
