Hello, the Swiss shirt smells even after washing! The shirt is synthetic, elastane, cotton..... Crane brand, super good except for this smell. Other shirts wash normally, dry and are as they should be. Who has some experience. Nice day!

The stink is the consequence of the decomposition of fungi that multiply in sweat. Fungi don't thrive in an acidic environment. The simplest is to add some citric or sulfurous acid (potassium metabisulfite) or non-aromatic vinegar or lemon juice to the water when hand washing or rinsing.

Never but really never put wet t-shirt in dirty laundry basket. First it needs to be dried. I know it sounds funny, but it won't stink. I ruined mine that way too. Once it stinks, you can't get the stink out anymore.

Bad shirt. Invest in better quality underwear (Craft etc.).

This can happen with pricier shirts too. Follow the above tips. Otherwise these shirts from Lidl, Hofer (Crane, Crivit etc.) are quite good quality, especially for the price. They serve me well, some already for several years.

It can happen with pricier shirts too, but much less likely. Even those from Karibuja that stink before you even move much, wash out completely scent-free.

Interesting. Mine started stinking both Craft and Mammut ones. And I don't sweat excessively.. My experiences.

At home we bought Perwoll sport & active liquid detergent just for kicks and it works great. At the end of the tour anyway every shirt gets its smell. I don't notice difference between craft, crivit, brynje, webster or sensor. Maybe crivit smell starts a bit earlier.
