Dear fellow hikers... since I believe you are very experienced, I ask for some advice, namely: are Saturday and Sunday suitable for a hike to Grintovec ? I would go from Smeti, Cojzova koča. Thanks for the answer.

In the night to Saturday, precipitation will intensify and will stop at the latest on Saturday morning. A northeasterly wind will blow, moderate bora on Primorska. During the day, it will partly clear up. On Sunday, mostly clear. I don't like hiking in the hills right after rain because of slippery rocks. They are already "smoothed" in dry periods.

Now a bit more detailed from the ZEVS website Today 3.9 more cloudiness, in the west showers and thunderstorms will appear, in the evening transient rain also in northeastern Slovenia. On Friday changeable to mostly cloudy with rather frequent showers and thunderstorms. Southwest wind will blow. Most rain will fall in the night to Saturday, when NE wind starts. Saturday morning rain will stop and it will partly clear up, it will refresh. Daytime around 20 degrees. From Sunday onwards again under the influence of high air pressure, but since the anticyclone center this time moves over the northern half of Europe, cooler air from northeast will flow to us and temperatures will no longer exceed 25 degrees. At least to the middle of next week mostly sunny with temperatures from 18 to 23 degrees Celsius, some more cloudiness occasionally only in the east of Slovenia and mainly there north to northeasterly wind will blow. Such weather could continue into the second half of the week.

Thanks mate07 and medo. I'm thinking of going on Saturday only to Cojzova koča and then Sunday morning, when it's dry, to Grintovec. Be nice!
