Does anyone have an idea what to do with my boots that soaked through. I spent quite a bit of money on the boots, as they are supposed to be higher end and for high mountains. They are supposed to be equipped with Goretex membrane and not get wet. The problem happened only on one boot, after some time it soaked first at the sole , the other stayed dry the whole way

for soles? That would come into play if the wetting spot was somewhere in the middle of the shoe height-wise. Then it would wet both not just one. But I use it, not every tour but every now and then.

did you check the sole, maybe there's some small hole somewhere, more likely a cut? or the joint between GT and leather?

haven't checked yet since it's still completely wet but good idea what to check. Do you know if there's any warranty on the boots or something similar

in my humble opinion, waste of such a boot for scree and rock... This boot is incomparably better than Lowe for winter. Food for thought
