I haven't noticed a thread about various suggestions for outings/trips/hikes yet, so I'm opening a new one.
I'm interested in what trip you recommend for 1-2 days, easier-medium difficulty tour, areas around Trenta or Kranjska Gora in mind. Of course other locations too. Something in the style of Krn Lakes (been there) or similar - regarding difficulty. Thanks for help and advice.

Kranjska Gora, for example: 1. Vitranc or Ciprnik from Jasna (currently on return
from upper chairlift station you can also toboggan with summer sleds); 2. Trupejevo poldne from Srednji vrh (not marked, but there is a path). Descriptions are in "column on the left".

1st day Lepena-Krn Lake-Krn-hut at Krn lakes-sleep (recommend, nice hut, staff very friendly)
2nd day Velika Baba, maybe also Lanževica and back to Lepena
Believe me, you won't regret!!!!

For lunch, of course, I ask people around me for some idea. Even better if they then cook it for me. 
Excellent, thanks for the suggestions. The Lepena-Krn Lake appeals to me, but instead of Velika Baba I would go to Krn, but that would need to be combined with an overnight stay, as you mentioned. Super. Then we can combine it with some small trip to the source of the Soča, since it's close by.

Just today a beautiful tour. We started at Predmeja. To the hut at Čavn. Then to V. Modrasovec. And from there to Mali Golak past the hut under Golaki. Then by road to the car at Predmeja. Around 17 km and 1000 elevation gain. A bit up, a bit down - really nice tour.

Here I'd ask if any of you knows some 3000m peak (in Austria or Switzerland of course) reachable by mountain bike.
Never been above 3000m by bike. And that's a big big challenge for me.
I'll be very grateful for any useful info. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, turbo, for this info. But the target is really far off to the side. If I can't find a closer 3000er, I could combine this Mont Chaberton with a visit to Monaco....
