Which Grivel crampons G12 or G14

First time buying crampons and I'm in a dilemma, wondering if it makes sense to buy G14, which I'd initially use for easy ascents that would gradually become more demanding, like Grintovec, Triglav (in winter).

G12 hiking, G14 ice crampons. Given the type of ascents I'd recommend hiking ones to you, since you probably don't intend to climb ice. And the price difference is obvious. Whatever you decide, know that GRIVEL isn't the only company for crampons... although some praise it to the stars.

I'd also recommend G12. Very good, versatile crampons, also suitable for steeper sections, Grivel crampons have patented rubber under the points that quite successfully sheds snow from crampons (I use them myself)

@Juš, since we're at crampons, I also need some hiking ones, you once mentioned some from Camp. Got a link or model name?

Probably C.A.M.P Cassin, like everyone I have a favorite brand and for crampons it's Cassin. Yes, Cassin C12 are very good crampons for winter ascents. 12 points classic crampons, of course. With less than 12 points we have no business in high mountains in winter, although some claim otherwise... C12, XLC 390, stalker, important they have 12 points! http://www.camp.it/IT/template03.aspx?codicemenu=352

Tnx, got the initial letter right at least. From Cassin I bought a harness years ago, totally girly , because I liked the color combo. Well, I did ask a bit for advice, so not completely cat in a sack. Anyway, I need to replace boots too, still undecided if regular hiking or something else.
