Double Lake. And Marko is ˝at home˝ there anyway.

Yes, Klanško Lake in a thunderstorm. Storm or not, it's still Klanško Lake.

No lakes in Slovenia have as many names as these. Officially (in our language) Mangart Lakes, as geographer Melik called them. Unofficially called Belopeška, a calque of German Weissenfelser Seen. Here and there someone insists on Fužinska Lakes, calque of Italian Laghi di Fusine. Old name – Klanška Lakes – hardly used anymore; apparently named after some Klanški whose estate was around there.

The title of Marko Pernhart's painting is Klan Lake in a Storm. Which lake was once called Klan, I read in the above-mentioned article. That Lake Jasna is in the photo is no doubt, just wondering if it's the same lake in Pernhart's artwork.

Excerpt from National Gallery page.

His work Laghi di Fusine in Stormy Weather (Klanško jezero v nevihti) betrays a similar subtlety and admiration of nature.

So it's not Lake Jasna, unless quite a few people are wrong.

Let some expert confirm.

Of course it's Jasna as in the background you can nicely see Prisank's front window.

Are you talking about Pernhart's creation (right at the top) or the photo?

The picture shows Mangartsko Lake in Italy, not Jasna in Kr. Gora.

I think it's the upper Belopeško (or Mangartsko) lake in the picture. But the photo definitely shows Jasna near Kranjska Gora.
Prisank's front window isn't visible from this photo, that's the back window above Mlinarica. The front one is further right.
