Hello I'm looking for suitable trekking shoes, but I don't know which ones to choose. For hikes in the mountains I use Meindl high B/C boots and they are super for me. Now I need trekking shoes for everyday, walking approximately 1 to 2 hours, sometimes more, occasionally a whole day. Usually I walk up the hill and run down most of the way from the hill, the surface is partly rocky too. What do you recommend I buy, I'm very flexible on price from 70 up to 150 eur easily even a bit more if the shoe is really top-notch.

They're not trekking, more running ones, but for similar hikes I use Roclite from Inov-8 and they're super for both walking and running. Before that I had Salomon xd pro 3d ultra and they were a bit better for walking, as for running though worse. In general for less demanding hikes I think shoes meant for mountain/off road running are better than heavier trekking shoes.

I'll try Roclite too, was looking at Salomon XA PRO 3D Ultra 2 and Speedcross 3. Does anyone have experiences with them?

I have Salomon X Ultra Gtx and I'm very satisfied with them. A bit stiffer and very stable shoe! But I don't use it for running....

bought them and tried them, so far they work very well, only on steeper slopes they slip quite a bit, maybe I just need to get used to them.
