Hi, I'm interested what your opinion is on yelling in the mountains. I personally really like to yell from the top.

Screaming is for the party. To mountains we go to find peace.

it's not pleasant to me. but I see it as part of our cultural tradition. and I don't stress about it.

If it's Triglav, where on nice weather hundreds of people change up there daily, then I think it's not some additional burden on environment/animals. In less crowded areas, esp unmarked paths or off-trail, then in my opinion it's right to try to refrain from such temptations.

If it's Triglav it really doesn't bother me , cuz I was around there last time during such peaks in 92. So mainly I support Trobec's post

Blaž, you just yell if your heart and good spirits command it. Birds and animals will survive such joyful yell. Likewise mountaineers with a sour lemon smile. Whoever really wants to enjoy silence should visit the nearest church. Half joking, half serious!
