Yesterday, that is Sunday 21.08.2022 I went with PD Medvode on my almost hardest tour to Dolič. Start was over Vršič-there was awful traffic-awful. We drove into Zadnjica. Soon they'll introduce payment here too. Then to Dolič via Komar. This is an adrenaline path-full of cables. At the end you step on the mulatjera and soon spot the much desired hut on Dolič. Group went further to 200m higher on Šmarjetna glava. For me 1500m ascent was more than enough. Back to Zadnjica via mulatjera. It drags on. Artificially routed-also with numerous mulatjera switchbacks. Actually nothing strenuous just takes time. Weather was nice. At start early morning in Zadnjica a bit of rain threatened but only few drops. Then we had nice weather all day-wonderful views-not too hot. Path via Komar was dry. Here you hardly meet hikers. At Komar start we put on helmets, stowed poles in backpack-that's mandatory for such path. Climbing gloves welcome too because tons of cables.

As far as I know, parking fee in Zadnjica has been paid for two years already.

I didn't see any notice nor parking machine. I should ask someone else a bit to get accurate info.

Of course there is a machine, at the start of the parking lot.

The bus parked at the end of the parking lot and really didn't see the machine. Now read the official notice from 2021. About parking fee we really didn't talk. But agree with majority demanding parking regulation at top of Vršič. Parking everywhere and due to oncoming we crawled snail-like across Vršič. Actually total chaos.

I have Bovec-Trenta map from Sidarta. At Krajcarica in Zadnjica only two paths are marked - one to Pogačnikov dom along Beli potok stream, other along Široki prod and after Kopica and before Planja turns up to Luknja. Before Planja left fork to Komar - correctly marked with red dashed line. Here in wide arc mulatjera, path via Komar ends at Pod steno area - from there short mulatjera section to Doliča. At Komar start one stream marked but nameless. Map shows this tributary joins Beli potok stream. No map shows more.

Path Zadnjica - Dolič in the last part under the walls, on Wednesday 19.6.2024, due to snow not yet passable.
