Yesterday I hiked the mentioned path. At the start the path is well marked, the second part a bit worse. Views excellent, nature wonderful.

Second hike of the year the Thursday group of retirees PD Škofja Loka did on the peak above Žiri - to the Three Kings. Start in Izgorje village. The guide led us on marked and unmarked paths to the panoramic peak of the Three Kings, where a nice little church resides. Here there was a fire brigade picture and viewing of the church. From there just five minutes and we reach the cute small mountain hut. It really is cute. They even opened it for us. Nearby there is a whole karst cave with stalactites. Inside you probably go only with cavers. Then via Goropeke village to Žiri. Recommended short tour for warming up before more demanding hikes in spring.

One little prince and four princesses today on the Holy Three Kings. We started in Žiri and went over Goropeke. All first time in these lesser-known but beautiful areas, with gorgeous views. Path newly marked, but we chatted at one point, no arrow for the right turn, missed it but quickly back on the right path. I met two roe deer while searching for the path. At the top by the church at 884 meters, views truly incredible. We see Žiri, behind large part of the Julian Alps, from Krn to Rjavina. Also Porezen and Blegoš. On the east part of KSA. Westward from Javornik to Golaki. And also towards Rovte, Medvedje brdo, Krim. Love bench at the top. Ema's pilgrimage path runs here. A little below the top there is a small but pleasant hut with a warm bread oven. The idea of returning circularly via Javorča was a bit too extensive. We have to save something for next time. Total 19 km. Already some spring flowers on the path, from snowdrops to daffodils and hepatica.
