Trekking description:
Žiri Trekking will take you through the land of shoes, lace, Rapallo border and Rupnik line. At the junction of Upper Carniola, Inner Carniola and Primorska, where a Neanderthal hunter hunted already 50,000 BC, we will hunt control points and wonderful views. We will rush along wonderful paths, ridges and plateaus spiced with historical and natural landmarks.
Active category is intended for everyone who likes to run but got tired of traffic, concrete and other urban landmarks. The course will be well marked, and a map will also be provided just in case.
Hiking and Ultra category will offer all the beauties of orienteering trekking. Hiking will be orientationally simple, while Ultra category will decide right “on the map” and will be a real test for all adventure seekers!
Žiri Trekking is intended for all runners, hikers, adventurers and active families. Therefore welcome to Žiri. At the end of the valley, at the beginning of the path...

Registration: Registrations accepted on website www.treking.si no later than 7.5.2014 or
until the online registration form is discontinued.
Entry fee: Active category 10 EUR, Hiking category 15 EUR, Ultra category 20
EUR. Payment in cash upon competitor registration.
Competitors of Žiri trekking, trekking league, trekking, trail run, lenuh, trail running, running, orienteering get: Trekking map, route description, control card, souvenir, warm meal.
Competitors and companions can use sports facilities of ŠRC Selo Žiri on event day (beach volleyball, tennis court, kayak/canoe, trampoline, children's playground,...)
Competition conditions: Each participant competes at own responsibility. With registration participant agrees to Slovenian Trekking League competition rules
